Mumbai MCO holds a Defence Department Quota (DDQ) on 25 trains originating from Mumbai Central, Bandra (T), Mumbai CST and Dadar. These trains connect Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Jammu Tawi, Amritsar, New Delhi, H Nizamuddin, Jaipur, Indore and Okha and 13 other destinations. Armed Forces personnel travelling on duty or leave from Mumbai can request reserved berths on any of these services through the MCO, subject to availability and movement priority.

How to book the Mumbai MCO quota
- Carry your movement order (duty) or leave warrant / Form D to the Mumbai MCO office.
- Route the demand through your unit's movement cell where required, quoting the train and class you need.
- The MCO allots berths from the Defence Department Quota by movement priority and availability.
- Collect the released ticket / authority — the DDQ is not bookable directly on IRCTC.
